The Business of Healthcare Podcast with Tara Humphrey

May 21, 2020

Whether we are working from home, have had to stop working or something in between, lots of people have been looking to learn something new in this time. In this solo episode of The Business of Healthcare Podcast, I focus on making the most of what we already have rather than the new.

Join me in a short but sweet episode, where I share my thoughts on the value of resources we already have. Text books from past education, training tips from previous jobs or notes from a training course – there is probably a wealth of information from our past experiences that we haven’t fully utilised. Perhaps now is a great time to dust off old books and notes to make the most of the resources we already have.

“There is something about going back to look at the tools you have already got that you don’t utilise because there is still so much you can learn.” Tara Humphrey

This week on The Business of Healthcare:

  • Making the most of what you already have.
  • How we can learn from our past experiences.
  • Look to books and information that we can re-learn.
  • How old training or education can teach us new things.
  • How reflecting on old notes can bring new insights to our projects today.
