The Business of Healthcare Podcast with Tara Humphrey

Feb 11, 2021

Chris Rogers is the Co-Founder at Private Practice Surgery. His company is newly developing and provides marketing for Consultant Physicians and Surgeons. With an extensive background in healthcare marketing, Chris wants to provide a membership website where he’ll teach, advise and help Consultants market their practice more effectively to get more patients.

Chris joins me on the podcast today to talk about his top tips on how to improve private practices – these are not just for Physicians or Surgeons – they can apply to any area that you are working in. We talk about sales and how some may feel having a private practice goes against the NHS ethos. Chris also gives his number one tip for anyone setting up a business themselves. There is lots of valuable advice in this episode for anyone on their business journey.

I found that Consultants were nervous about promoting themselves or their practice because of the perception of private practice. I saw these things and saw the opportunity to help.” Chris Rogers
