The Business of Healthcare Podcast with Tara Humphrey

Jul 16, 2020

Dr Kit Latham is Co-Founder and CEO of Credentially who are a health-tech start up supporting organisations to on-board clinicians and healthcare workers in a timely and efficient way. Kit is an A&E doctor where he learned first-hand some of the problems the NHS faces, and now uses his company to help solve them.

Kit joins me today to talk about the journey that has led to what Credentially looks like today and how the path to success has not always been smooth and there have been lots of different ideas along the way. He talks about the culture and ethos at Credentially, and it is clear the company has intentionally built it this way. He shares how his organisation has responded to the Covid-19 crisis by volunteering their technology. And he shares how things have changed for Credentially when it comes to attracting funds and investors.

“Compared to working in A&E, what I’m doing is not hard, but it’s not an easy thing to set up a start up, to take on that risk and build something from nothing.” Dr Kit Latham
