The Business of Healthcare Podcast with Tara Humphrey

Nov 17, 2020

Today I’m talking about a default diary. If there are tasks you do regularly, for example more than twice, then a default diary can help you do those tasks to their best. In this episode I’m sharing with you what a default diary is and how you can use it. How it can help manage your time so deadlines don’t creep up on you. I share how it can be used to cross-train staff or support capacity issues. And most importantly, I talk about how a default diary will help you move from ‘Oh I’ve got to do this task today!’ to ‘I know this is coming today and I’m going to do it and I’ve got enough time.’

“I’ve got a structure, I look at my diary, I know what I need to do and that frees me up to do other things.” Tara Humphrey
